Creating the Summit Visual Identity

For this carving, I wanted to incorporate the many beautiful types of edible nourishment that are cultivated from our rugged coasts all the way inland to our farms. The theme of “Belonging” really resonates with me and is something that especially hits home for me as a multi-racial person. The hands encompassing all of these different ecosystems are not only an example of our role within the greater food system, but a reminder that we have a responsibility for the health of our planet and our communities.
